Why do we feel the need to be "approved" by others around us? Why do we sometimes change who we are to make others like us... Or to even go against God in fear of rejection?
Well, lately I found myself doing this alot. Even to the point of swearing, helping people cheat on homework just so they would like me. Why does it matter so much? Maybe it's because we have to live with these people during the rest of our time on earth. But what matters more the way God sees us or how people around us view us? I know that God's view on us is so much more important, but I keep falling back into to this fear.
God I pray that you remind me of the truth that you love me no metter what and you are the one that I should go to for approval. Amen

Yes god loves us the way we are, and we should want his and only his approval, but that does mean we have to change, to become like him... and the more we become like him the more we get his aproval... but that is not something that is going to happen over night. God can see the end result and he loves us through all the stages of our spiritual journey.
Just run to him, he wiil teach you how to live.
GOD bless!
